Cedar Hollow Families:
4th Grade Program
This week, we enjoyed a wonderful performance from our 4th graders. Each year, our 4th-grade students present a Veterans Day Program as part of their annual music showcase. Mrs. Smith and the students did an excellent job honoring those who have served our country.
A special thank you to our 5th-grade students for writing Veterans Day essays, and to Emmerson Gass and Mary Orantes for sharing their pieces during the program. Their words added meaning and appreciation to the celebration.
Cedar Circles
This month, we have been talking to students about Gratitude. We met with our Cedar Circles group on Friday morning, and each student wrote down something they are thankful for. These will be used as turkey feathers for a schoolwide art project to showcase our gratitude. This was a great reminder for each of us to pause and reflect on the many things we have for which to be grateful.
