Cedar Hollow Families:
We had a great week! It is hard to believe January is coming to an end. It has been a great start to the new year, and we look forward to continuing to grow and learn over the next few months.
One School, One Book
Today, in our Cedar Circles groups, the One School One Book was revealed! This is such a fun opportunity to have a shared learning experience and connect school to home. This year, we will be reading Heartwood Hotel, a True Home. The book and a calendar will be coming home today, so you can join us in reading along. We can't wait for all the fun
Guardian Glow
This week, we were able to award a few more Guardian Glows to classrooms. It has been so fun to see classrooms nominated for setting a good example of Giving Kindness, Practicing Accountability, and Staying Safe. This week, Mrs. Hansen and Mrs. Radicia's class were the new recipients of the award. Mrs. Holston and Mrs. Rudd's class were also nominated for a second time. Way to go, Guardians!
Kindergarten Parent Meeting
We will host an informational meeting for incoming kindergarten parents on Thursday, February 5th, at 6 pm. If you know of anyone registered for the 2026-2027 school year, please help us in passing along this information. Kindergarten round-up will be held on February 27th, and there will be no school for current kindergarten students.
Parent Teacher Conferences - February 10th and 11th
We are excited to welcome families to parent-teacher conferences very soon. This is a great opportunity to discuss all the great growth happening at Cedar Hollow. Your scheduled time will be sent home today if you have not already received it. Please check your child's backpack.
Valentine's Day Celebration - Thursday, February 12th
We are excited to welcome Joe Cole, a local magician, to Cedar Hollow! Joe will be performing a kid-friendly interactive magic show for our students on Thursday the 12th. This special experience is sure to be memorable for all students.
5th Grade students are starting an annual tradition with a Valentine's party on this day. Other classrooms will celebrate by exchanging Valentines with their class and a snack from the PTO. Please see the link for more details: Valentine's Information
Please remember there is no school on Friday February 12th and Monday February 15th.
Wishing you and your family a safe and warm weekend!
Mr. Runyon
