Cedar Hollow Families:
We had a great week! It was fun to enjoy the nice weather. Students were so excited to get outside and enjoy the fresh air!
Congratulations to our students who participated in Battle of the Books! This is such a wonderful district-wide event that promotes teamwork and a love of reading. A big thank-you to Mrs. Vacanti for sponsoring this club and providing a great opportunity for our students.
Kindergarten Parent Night took place on Thursday, and it was wonderful to see so many families in attendance as they prepare to join us next school year. We are getting very excited for Kindergarten Round-Up and the chance to meet our newest students!
Parent-teacher conferences are coming up next week. If you are unable to attend your scheduled time, we ask that you make every effort to connect with your child’s teacher to reschedule. We strive for 100% conference attendance, and we appreciate your help in reaching this goal.
Next Thursday, we will celebrate Valentine’s Day. We will not have parent helpers on this day; instead, we will have an all-school assembly, and teachers will provide a special classroom celebration for students. The 5th graders are beginning a brand-new Valentine tradition as well this year that your 5th graders can look forward to in future years. We are excited for a fun-filled day!
Looking Ahead:
February 10–11 – Parent-Teacher Conferences
February 13 & 16– NO SCHOOL
February 17 – PTO Meeting
February 26 – 2nd Grade Program
February 27 – Kindergarten Round-Up
(No school for current kindergarten students)
Have a great weekend with your family!
Mr. Runyon
