We had another incredible week at Cedar Hollow. It was great to get into a routine and finish our first full week. The students are working hard, and I loved seeing them embrace doing things together as a team that is ALL IN!
Curriculum Night (August 27, 2026)
**This is for parents/guardians only. Please do not bring students or younger siblings. Pick a time that works for you to visit the classroom for the presentation. Please be respectful of the teacher's time, as they will begin promptly at each start time.

Allergy Reminders:
All treats must be store-bought
An ingredient label must be included and checked in the office.
We encourage families to consider non-food options for celebrations (such as pencils, stickers, or small classroom games).
School Attendance Matters
As we welcome back students for a new school year, we want to emphasize the importance of regular attendance. Being in school each day provides students with the best opportunity to learn, stay connected with their teachers and classmates, and be successful academically.
Please remember that if your child is absent due to a medical appointment or illness, a doctor's note is required for the absence to be recorded as a medical absence.
Here is the district's attendance protocol that we will follow for the 2026-2027 school year:
5 Days Absent (in a quarter) - phone call home
7 Days Absent - Attendance Letter
10 Days Absent (in a quarter) - Phone Call Home
15 Days Absent - Attendance Letter
20 Days Absent - In-Person Meeting & Attendance Plan

Arrival/Dismissal Procedures

Helpful Reminders:
Stay in your vehicle and pull all the way up to the front of the line.
Students can only enter from the passenger side of the vehicle closest to the school.
Once your car is loaded, please pull safely around parked cars to exit. (Once you are past the crosswalk)
Please park in the main lot if you plan to exit your vehicle for any reason.

Paper copies will be sent home today, but you can also order online. Picture day is September 1st.
