A MONSTROUSLY FUN COLLABORATION! We’re excited to highlight a fantastic cross-building project that brought creativity and teamwork to life! Kindergarten students at Cedar Hollow Elementary, guided by teachers Paige McMahon and Amy Timmerman, designed and colored their very own "monsters" on paper. These imaginative designs were then sent to Aspen Creek Middle School, where our talented 8th-grade sewing class brought them to life, turning the designs into stuffed monsters using fabric, felt, and buttons to match each kindergartener's vision. This project was expertly carried out by Jennifer Boldt and Shannon Weis at Aspen Creek Middle School. Some of our 8th graders even went the extra mile, making additional monsters to ensure every kindergarten student received one. We’re incredibly proud of all the students and staff involved for making this project a fun and meaningful learning experience, showcasing the power of collaboration across our schools. Way to go, Cedar Hollow and Aspen Creek Middle School!

Ahoy, Mateys! It’s National School Lunch Week! We celebrated with the theme "School Lunch Pirates: Find Your Treasure!" 🏴‍☠️ Our amazing Food and Nutrition teams showed their school spirit in new pirate-themed shirts, thanks to a manager who went the extra mile to make the week special. It was a fun-filled week, and GPS, along with our students, want to thank FANS for taking us on this high-seas adventure of good nutrition, where we discovered treasure in every healthy meal! #NationalSchoolLunchWeek #SchoolLunchPirates #FindYourTreasure #HealthyEating #SchoolSpirit
